You cannot assume that if the data processing sections executed successfully, the data representation is valid. Open the VCM in ConstructSim Planner and perform some basic visual checks. Identify a collection of 10-20 printable pipe isometric files (typically in PDF format) that provide a good representation of the various types of isometrics included in the project. For example, the sample set might include some rack pipe, small bore, field run pipe, large bore pipe within the ISBL, etc. Walk through each of these pipe isometrics in the virtual model and compare them to the printable pipe isometrics, checking for:

• Proper sheet breaks

• Proper spool breaks

• Correct naming convention for the spools

• Correct number of field welds and field weld locations

• Correct naming convention for line items

• Correct number of bolt-ups and bolt-up locations

• Correct number of pipe supports and support locations
